Brief History
Dallas Barnhartvale began from the vision of First Baptist in Kamloops. First Baptist had just paid off their mortgage and the leadership felt it important for the church family to establish a new goal. This they did by purchasing 7.7 acres of property in Dallas for a future church.
There were a number of families that lived in the DB area and they desired to see a church in their neighbourhood. First Baptist sent their associate pastor to begin a Sunday School in November of 1973. In 1974 the church held their first morning service. For the next several years they met at RLC elementary. In 1979 they constructed a church building on the 7.7 acres on Todd Road.
