The Adopt-A-Road/Adopt-A-Trail program in the City of Kamloops helps to organize volunteers to assist with keeping Kamloops' roadsides and nature trails clear of litter. The program, which has been in existence since the 1980s, currently has 127 groups and individuals associated with 38 trails and 50 kms of city roads.
We are happy to be part of the volunteer system that helps maintain the beautiful appearance of our community and our environment. Several times a year we gather on a Saturday morning, rain or shine, to pick up trash on Todd Road from Dallas Drive to Klahanie Drive.
Stay tuned for the next Adopt-A-Road Saturday date!
